Büren an der Aare Castle is the most significant Bernese castle construction from the first half of the 17th century. Built from 1621-1624, it is considered one of the most beautiful bailiff's seats far and wide. In 2003, the building was restored. The eight empty picture fields under the two rows of windows were adorned with paintings by the artist Mercurius Weissenstein in 2006, which have restored balance and harmony to the facade. Today, the castle houses the music school of the Lengnau-Büren region and the police station. Source: Municipality of Büren an der Aare.

A beautiful section alongside the Alte Aare, perfect for riding. The trail flows gently through a series of smooth curves, surrounded by vibrant colors and dense trees. It's flat, fast, and incredibly enjoyable, one of those stretches where you almost feel like you're flying as you ride.
