We visited Funkenburg Castle on July 9, 2025, with our children, ages 6 and 9. The stamp is in front of the gate. We were lucky and it was open. It was an entertaining few hours; the children moved around freely, and their interest was piqued. There was a glass-shard hunt with a diploma, a marble run, craftsmen's huts to explore, various walk-in huts, and climbing on the castle rampart. The friendly staff offered us ice cream and coffee. Highly recommended.
