The former military area covered an area of around 800 x 700 m. A building for flight control was built on the southern edge of the airfield. The solid turf was sufficient as a runway. After the end of the Second World War, the British briefly used the site as a blast site. In later years the site was made available for agricultural use and the management building was demolished. The location of the building can be seen in the photo.
