Wonderful paths for relaxation. Nicely shady, blueberries as far as the eye can see, plenty of porcini mushrooms, and, except for one path, hardly any annoying cyclists!

A wonderful path directly along the beach between Baabe and Gehren.

If you're traveling in the southeast of the island of Rügen, the "Gasthof zur Linde" is a great place to stop for a bite to eat. It has a rustic ambiance inside and a lovely terrace outside (we're usually not bothered by the traffic from the main road). Always friendly service and a decent menu.

Different with snow. But the contrast of white and blue in the background was very nice. Definitely recommended in winter too.
