Oybin is the village in the Zittauer Mountains with the most tourists: every train brings many people to the village. This means: the village is prettily decorated, there is a lot to see and many opportunities to stop for refreshments. Very beautiful mountain scenery all around with many long and short hiking opportunities.

Today's hike starts in Oybin, we want to walk a stretch over the mountains. The starting point is the parking lot with a view of the Oybin mountain, we have already explored the castle and the monastery on another day. We walk a few steps through the village, next to us the spa park, on the ground a colorful sea of leaves, it is autumn. Shortly thereafter, we pass the train station, the mountain rises to our left. The ride on the narrow-gauge railway is an absolute highlight and highly recommended. We leave the village and dive into nature. https://youtu.be/N2GgTh6HEzQ
