The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Seidingstadt is located in Seidingstadt, a district of the municipality of Straufhain in the Hildburghausen district (Thuringia). Due to the use of Seidingstadt hunting lodge as a summer residence for the Dukes of Saxe-Hildburghausen, the local church of Seidingstadt was practically a second court church and was equipped with its own parish from 1717 until about 1826. Since then, the place has belonged to the parish of Streufdorf. Source: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evangelisch-lutherische_Kirche_Seidingstadt

Beautiful show workshop, where ropes are still made by hand in many variations. Very worth seeing, nice owners who also run a small shop for ropes, brushes, and many little odds and ends. You can also find old GDR items there.
