Once a popular tourist destination, swimming in the pond is now prohibited. This prevents you from fully enjoying the idyllic ambiance.

2025: Many detours add a lot of elevation gain. The railway line is undergoing major renovations, and the railway is blocking the trails. I still enjoyed it, but it was considerably more strenuous than expected. Apparently, flooding is more frequent, which is why some short sections of the trail are permanently in poor condition. But the majority of the trail is in top-notch paved condition.

There are still some small construction sites due to the railway expansion. No problem by bike.

I've never seen a train and a bike share a tunnel before. It would certainly have been interesting if a train had entered with me.
