Before you visit Wettenhausen Monastery in the town, you can see it from the green surroundings. The stately tower and the red tiled roofs are clearly visible from afar. A visit is recommended because of the museum and the gastronomy.

Günzburg's beautiful old town. There are also plenty of ice cream parlors, cafes, and restaurants. Unfortunately, at lunchtime, the only options were kebabs, pizza, or hamburgers. The restaurants serving Swabian or Bavarian cuisine were closed until 5:00 p.m. It's a shame I had expected more. On the way back to Kirchheim, we came across several beer gardens that were open.
