A wonderful area with many sights

Here the Pfreimdtal cycle path runs along. From Pfreimd to Trausnitz it is rather easy to ride. From the Reisach power plant to Eslarn it becomes more demanding and hilly. Scenically very beautiful. Partly through the forest on gravel paths, but mostly asphalt road.

Many houses have a blue house sign. Each with a different name like "beim Seppl" "Schouster" "Beckermichl" "Bergbauer" "beim Platterten". This was created through an initiative by the Free State of Bavaria. The house names are often derived from the names of previous owners, job titles, or a combination of both, as an owner told me.

It's a shame there's nothing to see. The information in the entrance area states "visits not possible" and advises you to contact the tourist information office, but there's no information about where it's located.
