The modest Chapel of St. Valentine has the feast of the Holy Innocents as a secondary patronage. The predecessor building was a Romanesque church with a portal and 2 windows on the south side, and a massive pointed spire on the east side. On May 19, 1764, the Prince-Bishop of Freising, Clemens Wenzeslaus, permitted the pastor of Hohenkammer that "the small filial church of Niernstorff, located in your parish, not only be rebuilt due to its great state of disrepair, but also be moved to a better and drier foundation". This was done. In 1840, the chapel was raised by 2 feet, the tower was repaired and "in addition to the four narrow small windows, it was fitted with 6 round windows". Franz X. Kunesch/Munich painted the chapel's interior in 1891 and restored the altar. The last renovation took place in 1971. https://www2.erzbistum-muenchen.de/pfarrei/pv-allershausen/cont/59479
