I came from above and have to say that "letting it run" hasn't been this much fun for a long time. Total asphalt and not a soul around (Friday around lunchtime). And of course, a quiet... unbelievable. I even saw a deer drinking. Simply beautiful. I have to say one more thing. I came from Schloss Stolzenfest and through the forest with pretty steep gradients and am rewarded at the heights of the Hundsrück with a partial distant view that made my heart soar. The Catholic parish church of St. Anthony was built in 1835/36 from unplastered rubble stone. It is a hall building with a transverse rectangular west tower. The church houses an 18th-century crucifixion group. Above the portal is a statue of St. John of Nepomuk, which originates from the Carmelite Church in Koblenz, built in 1822/23. The church was extended to the north between 1961 and 1963.

For such a busy cycling region, this path is in disappointing condition. The asphalt is marked by numerous transverse joints and bumps, significantly reducing the ride comfort. This raises the legitimate question of where the tourism revenue goes – certainly not towards the maintenance or expansion of this section of the Moselle Cycle Path.
