Nice paths for cycling in this area, however, we are still at the Fulda here. The Ederradweg, however, only starts at EDERMÜNDE Grifte and leads south, with the path to Wolfershausen still being almost new and also very good to ride. After that, however, caution is advised, at least when it's wet (slippery on field paths!).

Foot and cycle path bridge over the Fulda between Kassel-Niederzwehren and Bergshausen. Opened in 2008, the crossing connects the paths on both sides of the Fulda and is an important part of the regional cycle and hiking trail network today.

The descent should be done with open eyes, sometimes stones loosen from the slope and roll onto the road.

The church in Heckershausen is centrally located in the village center and has a medieval choir tower, the oldest bell of which dates from 1510. The current nave was rebuilt in 1886 after the previous church had become too small; also noteworthy are the restored stained glass windows and the Bosch organ. If it is open, just take a look inside.
