It used to be a restaurant, but unfortunately it is no longer there. The area is absolutely great for cycling, jogging and hiking.

As is so often the case, only a desolate remnant can be seen of the restaurant at the Rinnmühle am Auenbach in Erlbach. The mill itself is a monument and today a residential building that has been partially renovated since 1999. Opposite the restaurant there is still the dance hall, where people always invited to dance at Whitsun. It only brings back memories, even though the building is not that broken. It is a grinding and cutting mill that worked until 1950.

Right at the Leipziger Hüte, there is currently quite a clear cut in the forest, I assume that the dear bark beetle is responsible for this. Soon there won't be so much wind break here in the valley on the Auenstrasse.
