The Kuhriosum is a fountain on the Kronenplatz in Bietigheim-Bissingen, created in 1987 by Jürgen Goertz. The proportions of the fountain and its function as a dominant center of the Kronenplatz are reminiscent of historical square layouts with a dominant central monument. Instead of a classic monument pedestal, an oversized milk jug is used, and instead of a pathetic standing figure or a mounted general, a hybrid creature, which is both a living creature and a machine, balances at the top.
