Here, the SS had tunnels built for armaments and aircraft production under inhumane conditions and with many deaths. A nice place to rest and enjoy the culture. The church was closed when I visited, but you can look inside through the small "Guggerl" window to the right of the gate.😉 The Jägerstein is also very impressive to look at - especially when the cross between the deer antlers is made to shine by the sun.😃
