The origins of the village church date back to the 14th century. It underwent significant renovations in 1586, 1613, and 1697. In 1613, the interior was completely renovated in the Baroque style and has barely changed since then. At the end of the 19th century, the bells and organ were replaced, and a heating system was installed. In the 1980s, the rear section of the nave was separated by a window front, making it usable as a parish hall even in winter. After 2000, the exterior plaster and bells were renewed. Finally, in 2014/15, both the tower and spire roofing and the roof covering over the nave were renewed.
