Well, what is supposed to be "nice" on the dike cycle paths is a matter of taste. The North Sea Coast Cycle Route is several hundred kilometers long and looks the same in almost every section. On the left the North Sea, on the right the hinterland to be protected. That's why you ride on the dike. Oh yes, and don't forget the dike keepers. Sheep also look the same everywhere 🫣😂

Unfortunately, it was closed today. Check online beforehand to see when it's open and what specials are on. I would have loved to take a bottle of whiskey 🥃 home with me 🤷♀️

The town sign is in the middle of the town, whether it is not allowed as a regular town entrance sign🤔

Fortunately, this beautiful stretch is a place where you don't have to pay an 'admission fee' to enjoy the view of the public ocean until you reach the first bathing spot, and you can even take your bike along the paths in front of the dike. ...and you don't have to push your bike until you get there either... Yes, there's a hint of frustration here about the cycling policy on the German North Sea coast... 😉
