The Friedrichssegen railway stop is located on the Lahntalbahn between Niederlahnstein and Bad Ems. The striking station building made of red and yellow clinker bricks was erected in 1883/84 by the Friedrichssegen mine and opened on May 20, 1884, together with the station. The station primarily served passenger and freight transport for mining and was for many decades the gateway to the significant Friedrichssegen lead, zinc, and silver mine. In addition to the station building, the station also included a goods shed and residential buildings for the railway staff. Today, Friedrichssegen is a stop on the Lahntalbahn and, at the same time, an impressive testament to the industrial past of the place.

The simple Protestant church was built in 1964/65 and replaced the earlier simultaneous Church of Peace from 1888, which was used by both Protestant and Catholic Christians during the heyday of mining. After the old church was demolished in 1937, the Protestant community did not get its own place of worship again until the 1960s. Today, the church belongs to the Protestant United Church Community Frücht-Friedrichssegen.
