At the Krippen ferry station, you have a beautiful view of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, especially of the Schrammsteine chain on the opposite side of the Elbe. Ferry F3 connects Krippen with Postelwitz; from Krippen, the rock massif rises impressively above the Elbe. Particularly beautiful: in the morning, when the sun is over the Schrammsteine, or in the late afternoon. The Elbe Cycle Route near Krippen also offers very good perspectives of the rocks.
