Kienzlerschmiede: „The hammer smithy was operated until 1961 by the Kienzler family, who had taken it over in 1885. The smithy was used by farmers until 1963. It is now owned by the municipality of Kirchzarten. The Kienzlerschmiede has two undershot water wheels. Products were manufactured for local crafts as well as for agriculture and forestry. The Schwarzwaldverein now regularly offers guided tours.” (www.dreisamtal.de)
