There's a small ford here, made of stepping stones and steps on both banks. It's a nice, shady place to take a break.

There is a small beer garden at the back. A beautiful oasis, right next to our table a blackbird had its nest and flew around feeding its young with worms in its beak, not impressed by the guests 😍

The town hall is the center of the town square. Such town squares can also be found in other Lower Bavarian cities, for example in Straubing. I think that's very nice, because you feel like you're in a cozy center here. All around you can find shops, restaurants and much more. The place used to be one big parking lot. This has changed over time. Although the place can be driven on, the cars are no longer as dominant here. A stay in Deggendorf is a pleasure.
