The Simschel waterworks was first put into operation in 1906 and completely renovated in 2002. Today it serves as a venue for open-air events, vernissages, discos as well as conferences, congresses and private celebrations such as weddings. On the ground floor is the old machine hall with 75 square meters of parquet flooring and a raised interior stage and bistro area.
