The air in the pavilion has a salt content of about 25%, which moisturizes and positively influences the respiratory tract. I found it pleasant 😊

The Irmelshausen swimming lake and campsite is located directly on the green belt at the foot of the Gleichberge mountains. The area, originally built in the mid-1970s, was completely renovated in 2017/18. The service area was sustainably upgraded through renovations and new construction, and the restrooms were completely renovated and are now barrier-free. The family-friendly swimming and fishing lake is surrounded by a spacious lawn. The northwestern area features a sandy beach with a jetty, as well as a children's playground with a water feature, table tennis tables, and a beach volleyball court. The idea of creating a Resurrection Trail around the parish of Höchheim arose at Easter 2010. For many years, Protestant Christians from the towns of Irmelshausen, Höchheim, and Rothausen have gathered there on Easter morning to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus in a sunrise service. This tradition inspired Pastor Beate Hofmann-Landgraf and the church council to create a circular hiking trail around the three parishes, focusing on the resurrection of Christ. Funding for the project was secured through the then Regional Bishop Christian Schmidt and his "Gerne evangelisch" project, so the trail was implemented relatively quickly in cooperation with the House of Church Services in Hanover and inaugurated on Easter Monday 2012.
