In the summer months you can stop off at the local Melkhus. Then there are homemade cakes, farmhouse ice cream and more. You can sit comfortably in variously designed seating areas and arbours. The courtyard is very well maintained and very open. You can also take a look (through a glass door) into the pigsty. Chickens are completely open to visit. There is also some information about courtly life and livestock farming. The Melkhus is also a perfect conclusion to the north path that runs here after 22 km.

In January there was unfortunately only good country air here. Do I have to come back in the summer.

A very nice place to stop for a bite to eat. Lovingly decorated. Unfortunately, I didn't have any money with me. I would have definitely found something in the farm shop and had a coffee. But the friendly owner still gave my dogs a bowl of water.

while hiking! The official north path leads along the edge of the forest. But we found a small path right through the forest. Here you can experience nature even better. As an official route, it is listed on the maps.
