Great observation hut with a view of the former sand pit.

A rather lonely forest that never seems long despite the mainly straight paths. But the forest itself simply offers a lot of variety, especially since you often move along deep drainage ditches and can look into the edge areas of the Tister farmer's moor. In addition, the forest paths are very soft and easy to walk on. In the course of the north path that runs here, the forest offers a perfect change from the rest of the way.

Located directly in the forest, the refuge is a good 3/4 of the entire route of the north path and therefore perfect for a last break. There are several information boards in the shelter to help pass the time.

A quiet place to take a break at the sheepfold in Stemmen. The Ekelmoor is nearby. There is a small sheepfold round. The path leads along fields and meadows.
