Michal
March 22, 2025, Zduńska Wola Town Hall

The town hall in Zduńska Wola, known since the second half of the 18th century, originally served as a central trading house, inspired by the hospitable Russian courts. Although it was never the seat of city authorities, it became an important trade and service point until the fire in 1928. Rebuilt in 2014, today it serves as a cultural center, housing an exhibition gallery, tourist information office, literary cafe, community center and cinema.

The station building in Zduńska Wola was built in 1902 during the construction of the Warsaw-Kalisz railway line, which, through the Warsaw junction on one side and the Border Station in Skalmierzyce, connected the Russian Empire with Western Europe. The first train ran along this route on November 15, 1902. It was a run from Warsaw to Kalisz.

This attraction could be changed to another type of tourism, because right now it is an unnecessary duplicate…

Monument to the Iskra aircraft. Currently, it dominates the understanding of Łask as a military town. And the city has a much richer history.

You are next to the oldest tree in Zduńska Wola, which is almost six meters in circumference. Local legend says that during the march to Russia, Napoleon Bonaparte himself found coolness in its shadow.
