In 2015, an old linden avenue from the former palace park was renovated. Planted around 1750, the oldest trees had become about 267 years old. Following the historical model, these were revitalized and the avenue itself extended, restoring the sightline from the southern shore of Zwenkauer See to the Trianon. https://www.zwenkau.de/portal/meldungen/neue-schilder-fuer-das-trianon-900000459-27490.html

The approximately 150 m long sandy beach is located on the quiet southeastern edge of the Zwenkauer See and, thanks to its gentle slope into the lake, is suitable not only as an entry point for swimmers but also for splashing around near the shore. https://www.zwenkauer-see.com/erleben/badespass/
