You have to be extremely careful here not to get your feet wet. Even when it's very dry everywhere, the water in the bay is still high. Some sections of the path are even flooded, and you have to take a detour into the undergrowth. Nevertheless, it's absolutely magical and very idyllic.

Access is via one of the many ladders located throughout the reserve, right next to the fence. If you don't climb over them, you'll miss this deserted and incredibly beautiful place to relax. Definitely make a detour here and enjoy the nature!

On the loop, you'll find this intact fence ladder in the moorland. If you take the shortcut east, another one follows.

There's a signpost here that says "Bad." I followed the path, but I couldn't find anything. It does head toward the lake, but there's neither a bathing area nor a beach or any other swimming area there. So don't let that mislead you.
