The museum is dedicated to two artists (a married couple) and is well worth seeing. The building is also beautiful and there is a nice café. It is only open from Thursday to Sunday (at least now in September).

A wonderful place for a break. Bring your own picnic to the table and chairs and regain your strength. The café only has special opening hours in September.

What is typical for this type of mill is that the entire mill house stands on a single thick pole, the house tree, which is attached vertically to a wooden support frame, the so-called trestle, located below the actual mill. On the trestle, the entire mill machinery can be turned into the wind by means of the leverage of the outer beam, called a “horse” in Öland.
