Just recovering from Storm Floris, which raged through here yesterday, but today the weather is perfect for the first hike of the holiday: the Grundsund coastal path with beautiful views, some wetlands too (with a handy and nature-friendly boardwalk through it), and a charming village as a starting and ending point.

Probably the most photographed building in Lysekil, perhaps even on the entire west coast. It looks so picturesque on the reddish-brown granite cliffs. It's been there since 1890 and has since been named one of the 7 Wonders of Västra Götaland. I still have to find out what the other 6 are 😉😂 There's a signposted path to the cottage, which is easily recognizable in places thanks to white lines on the ground. Wearing sneakers, I had good grip on the rocks.
