Long Mountain is a hill and Iron Age Fort straddling the boundary between Powys (Wales) and Shropshire (England) to the east of Welshpoo. It is a UK listed Marilyn.

Beacon Ring is an Iron Age hillfort close to the ancient Wales-England border. The fort was built and occupied between the later Bronze Age and the early Iron Age; after 1000 BC and before the Roman arrival in 50 AD. The Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust now owns Beacon Ring and has been undertaking a series of excavations and conservation management projects.
