Really lovely bakery and cafe, serving bread Tues-Sat, as well as a selection of cakes and pastries every day. A great stop to fill up bottles, grab a coffee and enjoy some baked goods. Hosts a run club and community events.

Gets a bit narrow at start just after the bridge with a blind bend so take care ,canal towpath bit ragged in parts also water logged so take care in winter but a peaceful spot before the next bridge switches you over to the other side of the canal

Another great little feature of Macclesfield. The 'paving slabs' in front of the church are old gravestones. Its great to just stand there and try read some of the old names.
