Interesting place to stop for a rest and picnic. There is a bench and a number of sculptures to see overlooked by the Nescafe factory. Sandwich shop in Hatton. Impressive ruined castle. Privately owned but open for visitors (need to buy a ticket). Hard to get a good view from outside the grounds as surrounded by high walls, fences and gates. Scenic church next to the castle with a number of picnic benches. Mary Queen of Scots was held here at one time (but then she seems to have been imprisoned in nearly every old house in the country!).
