In Bleiburg, the existing city park was redesigned into a meeting place and place for all generations to exercise. The removal of the war memorial has given the city park a new focus in terms of content and infrastructure. As a connecting element between Bleiburg's main square and the school center, the Grenzlandheim (borderland home), the outdoor swimming pool, and the JUFA sports park, this park is intended to be a meeting place for young and old. The aim is to enhance the quality of the park's stay. This will be achieved through newly designed access routes and furnishings that allow people of different generations to find peace, rest, and relaxation, while also providing exercise and learning elements. The project was funded by the European Union as part of the LEADER program.
