In this forest, you'll find some wooden houses built on stilts. It looks rustic and original. It makes you want to be a child again and spend your holidays here :)

187 steps to "happiness". But in between, there are also resting places along the way up to catch your breath. The view at the top is really beautiful. Riegersburg, Geschriebenstein, Wechsel... everything is there. And of course, there's also a bench at the very top to take a break. I liked it.

A beautifully landscaped pond. Perfect for a short stroll. And afterwards, a coffee in the pondside café. If you can find a seat, that is ;)

I discovered this restaurant by chance on a hike. It has a sophisticated ambiance, friendly service, and a lovely garden in front. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food—I only had a coffee and water. But according to the menu, freshly cooked food is prepared daily. Within opening hours, of course. Here you'll find the St. Joseph's Chapel, built in 1694 and now a listed building. A beautiful, venerable old building, we think. We took advantage of the cool interior—respectfully, of course—for a pleasant break during our hike in the hot July weather.

I can't say anything about the interior of the Pfeilburg, but it looks good from the outside. The "inside" will be covered later :)

The Pfeilburg Museum is located on Klostergasse, open from April to October. The interesting fortress trail begins here.
