A lovely forest where you can quickly get out into nature. With a bit of luck, you might spot some birds and deer.

This route takes you through a quiet forest and along an idyllic lake. If you like bird watching, you will especially enjoy this route - it is a little paradise for nature lovers. The route is suitable for everyone, whether you are walking, cycling, or want to enjoy the route with a stroller, wheelchair or limited mobility. The path was created in collaboration with Gisselfeld Monastery and Faxe Municipality. Important: The forest is private, so access is only permitted between sunrise and sunset. Sometimes access can be completely closed. If the entire route becomes too long for you, you can easily shorten it in Paradishaven

After visiting the extensive exhibitions, you can spend some money in the shop or have something to eat in the restaurant.

Here there are several megalithic tombs and traces of excavations of the Fensmark settlement from the time after the end of the last ice age.

The nave was built in the Romanesque style and has more or less retained its appearance. The tower with the spiral staircase was added in the Gothic style. The Romanesque baptismal font made of granite is as old as the church.
