Former castle ruins, a little to the southwest of the Ampferbach Chapel of Our Lady (also called "Windecker Käppele") near Burgebrach. Unfortunately, apart from moats and earthen ramparts, no structural remains remain, but the place has a wild, romantic flair. The ascent on the short trail is worthwhile.

The Ampferbach Marienkapelle, also known as the "Windeck Käppele", is located below the former Windeck Castle in the middle of the forest, right on the MTB trail. There used to be a martyr's place here in memory of a chaplain who died there. Regular services and May devotions are also held there.

The trail up to the "Eierberg" near the former Windeck castle ruins is short, but still worth a detour. Especially because of the romantic ambience of the former ruins.

Apart from a memorial stone with an inscription, nothing else can be seen.
