Building from 1610, with an impressive side bay window, has housed the Mohren-Apotheke (Moor Pharmacy) since 1614 (where Mohr comes from Mauren, so please keep it that way)

The old chapel, built in 1668, burned down along with the entire building. It is said that the princes, at least, were not upset about this. The new building also provided space for a representative burial site. When the rule passed to Prussia in 1791, the church was used as a garrison church, and during the French occupation, as an armory. In 1810, after the annexation of the margraviate to Bavaria, the Bavarian king transferred the church to the Catholic congregation. Thus, today, the castle church is the only Catholic margraviate church.
