Its popular place among tourists who come with a car and then continue to hike in the surruounded Mountains or take a short break to admire wonderful colors of Springs of the river Kamniška Bistrica . There is limited parking place for approximately max 40 cars.

Veliki Predaselj and Mali Predaselj represent the narrowest parts of the Kamniška Bistrica riverbed. They form a 100 m long gorge, in which the river streams between vertical walls of very hard, dark-grey limestone. In its central part the gorge widens into a basin that separates the upper, longer and deeper part, called Veliki Predaselj (30 m deep) from the lower and shorter part, called Mali Predaselj (15 m deep).
