Slovenian law forbids smoking inside (closed!) dining areas! Despite the non-smoking sign on the wall, there was smoking at three out of four tables (the 4th was mine, in the farthest corner). Not only that: there were ashtrays on those tables! Assuming that those people didn't bring their own ashtrays I must conclude that staff (which should ask them not to smoke) actually supports this behavior. Shame! All this smoking was accompanied with Croatian/Serbian music blasting from loudspeakers ("Radio Aktual"), so the entire scene felt rather like somewhere in the Balkans, not in Slovenian mountains.

Very close to the hut you will find a clearing from which you can enjoy wide views of the Košenjak mountain range. The hut awaits you with regional cuisine and sleeping places.
