Bishorn Summit

Highlight • Summit

Very nice, rarely full of people and fairly easy hike. Just before the cabin you'll need to do a bit of climbing and use chains. About 4-5 hours to the Tracuit hut, then breakfast at 5:00 and 2-3 hours to reach the summit. You can be back in time for an epic rösti at the hut. Lastly, all the way down to Zinal on the West side, walk past the water, it's a change of scenery and you'll reach a lovely meadow for a quick nap.

The Mischabelhütte, built at an altitude of 3,340 meters, is the third highest hut in Switzerland and the starting point for the high peaks of the Mischabels and Nadelgrat. Located between the Hohbalm and Fall glaciers, it is visible from Saas Fee and virtually the entire route. Time 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. - be careful not to be too late getting back otherwise it will take 2 hours to walk back down to Zermatt. Great view, fast funicular, ticket around 15CHF/person (half CFF price).
