Push-and-carry section at Saroja Saddle

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

We always take the route in the opposite direction. Then you can drive almost everything Difficulty S3. From Feldkirch is a good track to the foot of the Saroja saddle, then it is 50 hm to push (depending on condition and ability)

The first 30 minutes, which the track tries to guide you through the forest in a very idiosyncratic way, was now suboptimal in midsummer. Some of the paths were already quite overgrown. Even the piece that forces you to use a railway bridge over the river was borderline for me. Well, the railway bridge has a small makeshift road on the left, but I wasn't sure whether it was legal to use it. Otherwise, the rest of the way to the Sattelboden is really nice. There are some nice huts on the way. As an analog biker, you feel like a dinosaur that is dying out, based on the large number of e-bikers who have used this track today. Nevertheless, I still met 4 analog bikes on the way up :-) The bike parkour from the Brandner cable car is recommended as the way down. It's fun. There are actually no sliding sections. The landscape is really great. Thanks for the tip!
