Isarauen Trail Between Hangenham and Moosburg

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

With one of the most beautiful trails in the region.
Beautiful, deserted and with natural streams running through. Because of fallen trees and neat potholes you should be reasonably cross-country on the way.

Challenging Forest Descent

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

At the top, the trail starts downhill and continues for about 800m downhill. The condition of the road makes it challenging, two ditches are dug in the way for drainage, which leads to jumps, at the end of the way leads into another way and you can lie down again in the curve. The jumps are not a must, you can drive the road also normal, but at least for me, a highlight dar. However, riders use the way and so is a foresighted driving compelling, because these can trample the way.

Weltwald XCO Track (5 km)

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

A 5km route with ~ 70Hm. on the gravel through the world forest.
Start / finish: at the fork dir. Forest chapel.
The first 500m go uphill to the chapel.
Then go down and turn sharp right. After a total of 1.1km we go uphill again to the Botanikum. Past the Europa-Garten it goes quickly over the gravel where two sharp left turns await us.
For a change afterwards it goes uphill again :)
A steep segment awaits us at 2.5km (Central China)
Once we have made it, you cycle comfortably Richt. "Waldautobahn" (Kranzberg-Hohenbachern) and turn right again dir. Forest chapel.
From here it's almost all downhill, turn left at the sculpture (km 3.97) - it continues downhill.
If you have the descent behind you, you now roll to the start / finish.
After 5km with almost 70 meters in altitude you have the route after about 14-20 minutes. done! 👏

PS.
The route is best suited for following with GPS, as there are many curves left and right :)
Please be considerate of the hikers!

MTB Park Kranzberg

Highlight • MTB Park

Here hides a small MTB Park. It is a public patk, which may be freely used by anyone. The MTB Park was recently built by the municipality of Kranzberg, which is why it is not listed on most maps. The park is only accessible by bike or on foot - but very easy

DANGER! Not so passable anymore. In the direction of Moosburg you go to the small bridge (see markings on the map). But after that there is actually no way on the southern bank of the Isar. Too many fallen trees and bushes make it almost impossible to get through.

Drive down the Isar at the small bridge over the Goldach at the latest! The Isarufertrail is not mobile due to to many fallen trees. If you still want to try it, you should plan about 1h30m for the 5km to the Isar bridge near Gaden and be prepared to lift the bike over tree trunks about 40 times and then climb over other tree trunks over the Goldach. But then it's great fun, especially in the very last light of day

Currently 06/22 bad to ride with a racing bike or trekking bike. It's a real trail and heavily overgrown. The grass and the nettle on the left and right are quite high. Great fun to ride with MTB (see pictures)
