Lake Bohinj is attractive at any time of day. Clouds are often still present in the morning, creating a magical connection between the lake and the landscape. This unity is palpable. It only partially comes across in the pictures.

What is there to say? Lake Bohinj is one of top three or four tourist attractions in Slovenia, so, of course, you should come here. But you can truly enjoy it and see at least some of its beauties only if you stay long enough; I'd say one week.

Lake Bohinj (Wocheiner See) offers numerous bathing spots with larger and smaller bays around the lake.
