Beautiful place... but (as of 16.04.2025) all trees and bushes have been cut down, removed :( It looks a bit like a war zone now. One can feel some dangerous fashion/trend in the Jura, probably supported by some funds sucked out of the EU - to "clean" all the rocks from trees and bushes. Something reminiscent of replacing green city squares with ideal concrete creations. The wildness of the Jura is disappearing :(

Biśnik Cave, located in the Wodąca Valley in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland, is one of the oldest human habitations in Poland. Archaeological research has shown that Neanderthals lived here over 100,000 years ago. The cave is part of the Cavemen Trail and can be admired from the outside during a walk through the picturesque area. There are other attractions nearby, such as Grodzisko Pańskie and Jaskinia Jasna, which are worth including on your route.

The oldest human traces found there are 150,000 years old! It's fun to get off the bike and spin there. There is a climate :)
