Three conglomerate rocks, also known as the Mečkovská rockery, rise above the surface of the Brno Reservoir. The highest of them reaches a height of approx. 9 meters above the water.

The well can be found near Lelekovice if we follow the road upstream of the Hloušek stream towards the junction U lávek (it leads past the wells U silničky and U lávek), but immediately at the end of Lelekovice at the barrier we turn right across the stream, after a while on the slope to the left we will see a bench and near it Brčálka well. It is also called Behind the pond. On the plate of the well is the inscription: BRČÁLKA - THIS WELL WAS RESTORED FOR THIRSTY TRAVELERS IN 2006 BY THE GREEN PARTY. The note was sent by Pavel Kodýtek. The source is easily accessible, not plentiful (approx. 1 l/min), the dripping water seems drinkable. March 2023 - the site is temporarily unavailable due to falling trees. Even though there is no marked tourist route through the valley, the Gangloff road is a rewarding place for trips. You usually start in Útěchov at the public transport terminal and take the street to the lowest point of the village to the pond and from there follow Gangloff's path to its end to the railway bridge. Here, on the right, take the modified road, under which the I. Březovský waterworks passes, along the Svitava river to Bílovice. This physically easy walk is less than 6 km long.

Originally, there was only a narrow forest path that wound its way between rocky outcrops in the lower part of the valley. In many places, they reached almost to the surface of the stream, and the stream here created a number of romantic rapids. At the beginning of the last century, however, it was widened to a wagon road for the collection of wood, when in the lowest part near the railway line, a deep rock ravine called the Mouse hole had to be modified and artificially widened. Here on the overhanging rock face, since 1929, there has been a commemorative plaque of the prominent forester and inventor Karel Daniel Gangloff (1809-1879), after whom the path here got its name. The final part of the route passes through the Malužín nature reserve.

You will see the U Maruška well at the red marker in the Baba ridge between Jinačovice and Česká. The spring is led into a pipe under the road, after which the water feeds a small pond. From there it drains into a creek that flows through a nearby golf course.

The well is also a memorial to the composer Leoš Janáček, author of the opera The Adventures of the Cunning Fox. It is located near the hunting lodge where the story of the fox Bystrouška took place. The well was modified as a memorial in 1978, excerpts from the famous opera are carved on bronze plaques.

Protected area of 8.5 km2, founded in 1990 in order to preserve the landscape of the forested area in close proximity to Brno. The nature park is located on a long wooded ridge with many meadows. The biggest natural attraction is the unique century-old oak stand with an herbaceous layer rich in rare plant species. There are about 50 species of birds.
