In the summer, the sand here is loose, which makes the descent a lot more challenging. In the autumn and winter it is wet and you can come across some slippery tree roots here and there, which also makes it fun. If you come from the south, you will get a few tough climbs along the way where you can really test your condition. Please note that this part of the Crown Domain is closed every year from mid-September until Christmas because of the hunt of our royal family.
