My starting point for the surrounding area for 20 years. Worth mentioning are the guesthouse "Zur Scheune" with cozy rooms and a fantastic kitchen, the Jahnke bakery, where I just HAVE to stop every now and then for a delicious piece of cake, the fish restaurant on the banks of the Black Lake and the great bike paths - mostly off the road - including towards Rheinsberg, to Zempow (towards Müritz/Meck-Pomm) or the many great paths through the forests, where the MTBer's heart should beat faster. In summer, there are also various swimming areas nearby where you can relax, including at Großer Zechliner See, Wummsee or Kapellensee.
