Houffalize World Cup Circuit

Highlight • MTB Park

Route made for the world cup in Houffalize. Possible for everyone, but be prepared to walk certain segments uphill and even downhill if your technical skill set is insufficient.

For the downhills: When in doubt just walk. These sections need to be taken with a certain minimal speed. At very slow speeds it will not be possible.

For the uphills: There are a couple very steep uphills immediatly after a u-turn of a technical decent. Be prepared to shift down, put your nose at your stem, the point of your saddle in a not so comfortable location and start putting the power down.

Have fun at this ±3km track and keep in mind the pro's do this about 10 times.

Descent to Salm Castle

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

Singletrack downhill to Salmchateau. Some parts with roots, rocks and small drops. As of the chateau there is short part over the road, halfway there is an offroad shortcut to the village center.
Make sure to have a look at the unique railroad tunnel :-)

Scenic Singletrack Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Narrow and with many tree roots, it can loosen some seals. Always along the edge of the forest, with deep ruts. But in dry weather without problems.
