It is best to take the route from "TreeneTrail 4" starting in the north east -> komoot.de/highlight/949836

then mostly has a slight incline to the "Kanu Pauseplatz" -> komoot.de/highlight/279570

and then continue on "TreeneTrail 1 & 2"

Langsee Trail with Steps and Wooden Bridge

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

MTB suitable ... some something "not without" 😨

with the stairs. Driving direction from west -> east is appropriate ❗

The first long staircase should be for experienced MTB bikers

do not pose a problem. [Statement: without guarantee ❗] 😀

Declining from west to east ❗

Then there are two ways to continue the way:

1. The northern one remains at the same height level and is easier to handle.

2. The southern leads down to the water and is the nicer ... it is said:

Lift 1x bike over a jetty + shoulder your bike and carry it up the stairs.

The second shorter staircase leads from the shore again

the higher level ... ergo: Falling from North -> South ❗

The third staircase at the end in the east is also again

not falling from west -> east and by short steps

easy to handle 😨❗

Details see pictures, report with questions ....

and no, not e-bike suitable ❗ 😂

July 18, 2025, MTB Trail on the Holnis Peninsula

Not only the long loop around the Holnis peninsula is recommended, but the entire area – whether on foot or by bike. The combination of cliffs, beach, quiet country lanes, and expansive views over the Flensburg Fjord makes this tour truly special. 🌅 What I particularly like: ⦁ the varied landscape – from open fields to salt marshes to cliffs with sea views 🐚 ⦁ the proximity to nature – you often see seabirds, sometimes even deer or hares 🐦🦌 ⦁ the peaceful atmosphere, especially in the morning or evening hours The hiking trail is well signposted and easy to walk. It's very suitable for families and, very important because it's rarely mentioned: also suitable for strollers ✅ For cyclists: Please note that the nature reserve in the middle is closed to bicycles 🚫🚲 – but you can easily cycle around it and still experience much of the charm of the trail. Nevertheless, you'll often see intelligent beasts packing their brains into their saddlebags at the sign and speeding through like a monkey stung by a wasp 🤬 – which isn't surprising, considering that cyclists are often perceived as a nuisance. If you love nature and are looking for a tour that combines sea views, peace, and exercise, this is the place for you – whatever the season. 🌾❄️🌞 Highlights of the tour are definitely: ⦁ View from the Holnis Cliff ⦁ Denmark within reach ⦁ Birdwatching in the middle of the nature reserve ⦁ Swimming on the north beach ⦁ The old sailor's grave & Lake Pugumer
